Survey of Scriptures – THE 2O1
The course is an overview of selected books of the Old and New Testaments to emphasize the interconnection of both Testaments and their emphasis on the Covenant Keeping God. The course will address questions of authorship, audience, themes. The Course outline emphasizes the relationship between books and the way various books interconnects to form the whole Bible.
Christian Counselling – THE 202
This course serves as an introduction to biblical counseling and helping ministry with special attention given to tough issues that pain today’s generations, the modern-day search for answers, and the biblical basis for a counseling ministry. This course is designed to equip students to identify and distinguish counseling models that quantify Christian counseling. The content is designed to deliver essential knowledge and skill to help students become proficient in helping within a Christian ministry context. The course provides students with an overview of basic resources and knowledge that apply to a broad scope of counseling issues; secondly, it presents practical biblical counseling models and skills to address those issues.
Intergenerational Ministry – THE 203
The course seeks an understanding of what goes on in the mind of Gen Y population. It focuses heavily on communication strategies and the development of intergenerational engagement skills. This course explores bridging faith across ages, designed to explore the theory, practice, and transformative potential of intergenerational ministry within faith communities. Students will delve into the multifaceted aspects of intergenerational ministry, gaining a deep understanding of its biblical foundations, theological significance, and practical implementation strategies.
Principles of Church Planting – THE 204
This course will cover amongst other topics the biblical perspective of missions, the “why of missionary endeavors”, misconception about evangelism, the great commission, church planting, secrets of church growth, and church diseases and vital signs of a healthy church. It will also introduce theories and practices of preaching in pastoral and liturgical settings. Students will be exposed to the various dynamics of preaching (theological, hermeneutical, pastoral, exegetical, ethical, liturgical) and their relation to the regular practice of preaching.
Conflict Management in Organizations – LED 200

This course will enable participants to develop a biblical understanding of the nature of conflicts, and conflict management styles, learn practical, biblically acceptable methods for resolving conflicts, and adopt these methods as a basis for conflict management in the church.

This course is designed to prepare students to work in a conflict management position in or for an organization. Students will receive a basic introduction to organizational context and structure, leadership and communication styles, and sources of workplace disputes. The course also provides an overview of the processes by which organizations typically resolve disputes. Students then apply this knowledge to current organizational disputes, designing a conflict analysis and suggested resolution strategies and redesign.
